NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Alignment with the Production Support Policy

This policy is organized around 56 action priorities, distributed across nine cross-cutting governance themes. The two axes with the greatest weight — human capital development and food security — are the areas where the company’s contribution is most direct, through the production of certified seeds, the technical training of producers and the strengthening of national agri-food chains.
Human capital
Technical training, practical skills development, knowledge transfer, and the creation of opportunities for young people, technicians, producers, and community agents.
Food safety
Research, production and dissemination of improved seeds, increased agricultural productivity and strengthening of national value chains.
Sustainability and inclusion
Responsible use of natural resources, soil conservation, female inclusion, support for vulnerable communities, and promotion of good agricultural practices.
Cross-cutting themes of governance
These priorities help to frame Jardins da Yoba’s contribution to a broader socio-economic impact, linking agricultural activity to human development, employment, inclusion, food security and environmental sustainability.
